Project Overview

Location: Pakistan – Industrial Facility

Envirogreen Technical Services (Pvt.) Ltd. conducted a detailed energy assessment across a facility operating multiple energy-intensive systems including motors, compressors, and auxiliary equipment. The objective was to identify hidden inefficiencies, optimise system performance, and reduce energy consumption without affecting production operations.

Initial analysis indicated an average demand of 1,480 kW and monthly consumption of approximately 910,000 kWh.

Key Results & Findings

  • Electrical Hotspot Reduction: Identified 18–25°C abnormal heat losses in panels due to loose connections.
  • Motor Efficiency: Multiple motors were operating at only 40–55% load, indicating significant underutilisation.
  • Compressed Air: System was operating at 8 bar vs the required 6.5–7 bar, leading to excess energy use.

Our Innovative Solution

Envirogreen implemented a structured, data-driven energy assessment approach using calibrated instruments and real-time monitoring techniques. The assessment included:

  • Power quality analysis and load profiling
  • Thermal imaging inspections
  • Evaluation of motors, compressed air, and lighting systems
  • Identification of system-level inefficiencies

Targeted optimisation measures were recommended based on these findings to improve performance and reduce losses.

Pre vs Post Assessment

Pre-Assessment (Challenges) Post-Assessment (Outcomes)
Hidden electrical losses within panels Inefficiencies identified & corrective actions defined
Motors inefficiently at partial loads Motors aligned towards optimal conditions
Air system at higher-than-required pressure Pressure optimisation recommended

The Outcome

The facility gained full visibility into energy performance and actionable strategies to reduce consumption, improve efficiency, and enhance system reliability. Envirogreen transformed hidden inefficiencies into measurable performance improvements and cost savings.
